Each Guitar Guru session has at least one preset MIDI tone by default. Since not all sound cards reproduce MIDI tones the same way, Guitar Guru allows you to override the default MIDI tone with one of 20 different stringed instrument types. To change the tone:
| 1. | In the Options menu, choose Select Tone. |
| 2. | To override the default tone, choose one of the categories Acoustic, Electric, Bass, or Other. Select the tone. |
| 3. | To reset the default tone, choose Select Tone > Default. |
You can change the tone while the session is playing. The new tone setting will be applied to all passages of the current session.
