Training Voice Command

Once you have installed Voice Command and configured the microphone, it is important to train it for your environment and your particular speaking style. Training creates a speech profile unique to each user. To train Voice Command:

1.	In Guitar Guru, Click the Options menu, point to Voice Command, and click Voice Training.

2.	Follow the instructions in the Voice Training Wizard, which involves reading aloud several lines of text displayed on the screen. The initial training takes from 5 to 7 minutes. Additional training is optional but highly recommended since it will improve recognition accuracy.

Voice Training Tips

For best results consider these tips when reading the text presented in the Voice Training Wizard:

•	Perform voice training in quiet surroundings.

•	Speak with a consistent pace and volume.

•	Do not pause between words, and do not pause between syllables in words.
