Vote on February’s YouPerform Contest Entries!

In February, we received two contest entries for our monthly YouPerform contest.

Today, I am pleased to present you with two contest entries that we hope you’ll enjoy. Each performance qualifies for our contest. One contestant decided to play the song “When My Baby Smiles At Me” which was February’s free song of the month. The second chose a classical Musicnotes Editions piece for their contest entry. The full title of the piece is the Sonata in C Minor “Pathetique” II. Adagio Cantabile Op. 13, No. 8 composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven.

As we mentioned in January, we released new YouPerform contest rules. We hope you submit your music performance video to our YouTube! March Musicnotes.com Contest group for your chance to win! Remember, the $100 gift certificate is good for digital sheet music, songbooks and anything else that we have in our store.

I am hoping to be able to enter the March YouPerform contest, but I have a question- if I am under 18 years old, do my parents have to send the video in, or can I send it with my own youtube account?

    Thanks,
    Joy Bird

      Hi Joy,

Per the contest rules, you would have to upload the video to your account first. After you do that, then you’d either email us the link or submit it to our contest group located here:

      http://www.youtube.com/group/March2009

The contest group allows contestants’ videos to be grouped together for public viewing and rating.

      Thanks for asking!

I think performer B’s way better but that’s just me. lol. Do we need an account to enter? Thanks, I enjoy listening.

The only place where you’ll need an account is YouTube! You don’t need to purchase from us to enter, because you can download our free sheet music song of the month to use as your entry. :)
