Sheet Music for Harry Potter Movies
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the sixth movie in the Harry Potter franchise. Based on the books by author J.K. Rowling, in this film Ron, Hermione and Harry enter their sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Unlike the other films, the villains in the Half Blood Prince are even more prevalent in both the wizarding and the “muggle” world, creating a chaotic school year for the characters fans have come to know and love.
As Dumbledore and Harry race to unlock the secrets to Lord Voldemort’s past, new characters like Narcissa Malfoy are introduced to complicate matters while old characters like Severus Snape seem to show a different side to their personality. Throw teenage romance into the mix, and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince may be considered a movie about love in the face of imminent danger. Many of the song titles for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price have titles that reflect both the romantic and the darker themes of the movie, too. “When Ginny Kissed Harry” or “In Noctem,” are just two examples of songs from this film. The word “noctem” is latin for “night.”
