Bunessan Free Sheet Music, More from Twilight in The Whole Note

Do you remember the song Morning Has Broken? The popular melody performed by Cat Stevens in the early 1970s was originally based on a song by Scottish composer Mary MacDonald (1789 – 1872). When the hymn was translated into English by Lachlan Macbean, the song title was renamed Bunessan after a Scottish village close to Mary MacDonald’s hometown of Ardtun. Believe it or not, the song was originally associated with a hymn called Child in the Manger. (1) This March, download your free sheet music for the song Bunessan and enjoy this gorgeous melody.
