Originally from Houston, the CCM husband-and-wife duo Watermark gained a strong following in their hometown before gaining national recognition opening for Point of Grace in 1998.
After starting a family, Watermark released their third album Constant in 2002 with a newfound sophistication, putting aside some of their more "poppish" tendencies. In 2004 Watermark released their fourth album, Purest Place, further strengthening their own position in the canon of popular CCM music.
