7/19/2008 12:42pmIf you really want to learn to play these Jack's Mannequin songs, this is NOT the book for you. For starters, the notations for the songs are solely based on the lyrical content of each piece (not the actual piano playing during the song) so it is quite difficult than truly playing the songs the way they are recorded. Second off, I was absolutely shocked: Many of the songs in this book aren't even lyrically correct. For example, in the song, "The Mixed Tape", the opening lines read, "This is morning, that's when i spend the time" when really it is "..when i spend the MOST time". In "La La Lie", in the chorus, the book reads "The ending has twisted" but it really is "the ending WAS twisted". Minor mishaps like this in and amongst the book make it seem unpleasant. Finally, certain songs with more unusual rhythms are just not notated properly. There simply are bunches of eighth notes where 16ths and dotted sixteenths are needed. At one part of "La La Lie", the notes hit a ch
