accompanist sheet music for All of Me

Just the right type of music for accompanying a vocalist. Allows the vocalist to control the melody. The notes fill the measures beautifully.

Great Song

I had never heard this song prior to a student asking about it. I went to Youtube and saw a video of just a singer and piano player, no other instruments. Knocked me out. This arrangement is similar to that performance. There are always going to be obvious differences because songs evolve from when they are written. But this arrangement is faithful in spirit to the original, if not "note for note" accurate. The song is not as difficult as it first appears, but it is still a challenge. My student who wants to learn this has been with me for around three years, but is a casual player. It is going to challenge them a lot, but they are at a place to be able to tackle it, though it will probably take them six months if they really go after it. For the serious minded, who are very actively pursuing their playing (with professional aspirations or as an avocation), three years of playing will make this a bit less of a challenge for them, depending on the style of music they are focused upon. But it is still filled with great technical things, the most obvious of which is choosing how to finger passages - which if they have learned good fingering technique, they will have a little work ahead of them. After that, it should flow pretty well.
