Easy to play, easy duet notes cued, not quite the original2/10/2013 4:47pm
Missing the "oooo" and the "boom, boom, boom" barber-shop quartet harmonies that I remember. This is the "GLEE" arrangement even though the copyright is 1964. This would be easy to learn for a Bridal Show theme for a spring program, or as a spoof/joke. The music is not a joke, but somehow the song brings up ideas for skits. Vocals are easy to sing...starts on F above middle C. This would be an easy song to teach harmony to young singers because the harmony is a third above the melody (Descant or high tenor-type harmony starts on "Gee, I really love you.") Highest note/tone is C above middle C, so the vocal range is very compressed - not difficult. The bass clef is super easy and could be played by a bass guitar or a standing string bass- even a beginner could play the bass line.
