Beautiful arrangement--but neither here or there

Okay, for those wanting the original aria from Villa-Lobos "Bachiana Brasileiras No. 5"--this isnt it. This edition contains ONLY the vocalise section--the verse in the middle (where there are actual words) is no where to be found. I checked the pop version by Hayley Westenra since I actually found this under her name, but the version as recorded on her "Odyssey" album is different as well. Overall, this is a beautiful piece, but only for those who want a shortened version. Not really for beginners since it takes a fair amount of support to have it sound halfway decent. Comes in different keys, but if possible its best not to change it too drastically in order to preserve at least some of the composers original intended sound. It is best for sopranos with warmer timbres.
