Beautfiul Piece
11/6/2007 6:01pmThis piece is the accompaniment to the Billy Joel song, Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel). Since the main instrument in Billy Joel's songs is a piano, I expected the piano arrangement of his songs to be much like the actual song. This piece was exactly like the actual song. The arrangement was nice because it had the melody built into the accompaniment, which isn't always the case with popular songs. I have ordered previous songs that I loved to listen to, and was disappointed in finding the accompaniment to be simply accompaniment. I couldn't even tell what those songs were without the melody and lyrics. This song incorporates the melody into the accompaniment. Even with that said, this arrangement of the song is beautiful with or without the melody. It is simply elegant!
