Honestly, who writes these arrangements?? This is advertised as "easy piano" but the arrangement is absolutely unplayable for an intermediate piano student. The melody is not difficult but it jumps around and to harmonize it in 6ths and then call it easy is idiotic. This arrangement completely counter intuitive and provides no easy solution for fingerings. I sure wish Alfred would invest in some creative and artistic arrangers rather than continuing to pump out this generic crap that seems like its been spewed out by a computer. Very disappointed.

This is a fine arrangement that allows for flexibility in difficulty level. It is perfectly in line with the plethora of other pop music labeled "easy piano" online and in music stores. If the harmonization is too difficult, then have the student remove some notes (perhaps playing only melody notes). This would actually be a great learning experience for a student. Then, once they feel comfortable with the melody, they could start adding the 6ths here and there. If the arrangement is still too difficult, then the student might need to try the beginning level version of this piece (only melody) or wait until they have reached a higher level of sight-reading. The melody of this song, like many other pop songs, was not written specifically for the piano. In such cases, there will always be difficulty in translating the song to the piano in a way that is relatively easy but still sounds decent. So, I think the arranger did a nice job of balancing the two. And, I dont think it is
