Finding the sheet music you want

Before you purchase any music, you have to find a piece (or two or more!) that you’re interested in. There are a few different ways to find music on our site.

If you have a specific piece in mind, you can type the artist’s name or title of the piece into the search bar. A preview bar will pop up with some potential picks for you. Feel free to click on one of those or just hit “enter” to see all related results.

Otherwise, you can browse by instrument, style, newness, popularity, or what’s recommended!

Adding music to the shopping cart

Once you’ve decided on a piece, it’s time to add it to your cart! Musicnotes offers transpositions where available, which can be found on this page. But don’t worry – you can always change the key after you check out, even in our apps! You can also add a PDF download for just $2 more (Note: this is free if you are a Pro-Plus member). Select “Add To Cart” to save this piece into your shopping cart.

Your shopping cart and signing in

Here you have the option to change the quantity of sheet music, add PDFs, shop for more music, or proceed to the checkout. You’ll also be offered the opportunity to begin a Pro Membership.

If you haven’t already signed in to your account, you will be prompted to do so at this time. Otherwise, new customers will need to make an account so they can access their music at any time or any place! Once logged in, you can enter your payment option or you can used a saved payment type. We accept credit, debit, and gift cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as payment via PayPal.

Review your order
