The 75th annual Tony Awards aired on June 12 and was hosted by Ariana DeBose!
There were exciting performances from a variety of shows, including A Strange Loop, The Music Man, MJ: The Musical, and more. Billy Crystal also provided some entertainment, getting the crowd involved when he shared his “Yiddish scat.”
A Strange Loop won Best Book for a Musical and Best Musical, making producer Jennifer Hudson an EGOT winner! Myles Frost of MJ won the award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical, while Joaquina Kalukango of Paradise Square took home the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. The award for Best Original Score went to Six: The Musical, and Company won Best Musical Revival.
