Back in 2018, as part of our Song Spotlight series, we were lucky enough to sit down with Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown! You may know him from his work for “13: The Musical,” “Parade,” or even “The Bridges of Madison County.”
In this interview, you can hear from Jason himself as he discusses when and how he started composing. He also gives an inside look at the touching & inspiring story behind “Invisible” and how the song “Someone to Fall Back On” came to be. (You can watch full performances of these two songs later in the article!) Finally, Jason takes the time to give some great advice for composers. ⬇️
