Surprise Guest at Tin Pan South: Garth Brooks!
A last-minute addition, Garth Brooks performed on Musicnotes' stage at Tin Pan South alongside Victoria Shaw & Mark Hudson.

Back on March 30, the audience at Musicnotes' stage at Tin Pan South was in for a big surprise when the second session began!
Two of the songwriters at the 9pm session unfortunately had to drop out due to illness. However, Victoria Shaw was able to call a friend in the studio earlier that day and ask him to join herself and Mark Hudson on stage: Garth Brooks!

During Garth's turns, he performed a handful song songs, including "A Friend to Me" and "In Lonesome Dove." Victoria Shaw helped out on a few tunes, including one that they wrote together titled "The River." (Watch Mark Hudson join in on their performance from his own POV here!)
Garth also spoke about and performed the song he said was the first he had written, "Which One of Them." Finally, he performed "Cowboys and Friends," which was also from his college days, and "Some Things Never Change."
There were also incredible performances from Mark and Victoria!
The night ended with a wonderful group performance of Mark Hudson's Grammy award-winning song "Living on the Edge" (Aerosmith).
