There’s Something for Everyone in Our Signature Artist Series

Collectively, they’ve amassed millions upon millions of YouTube views. Individually, they’re known as some of the most dazzling up-and-coming stars in their respective genres. With ground-breaking arrangements, imaginative production and virtuoso-level skills to boot, the Musicnotes Signature Artist series represents sheet music’s brightest stars of today and tomorrow.

So, what makes an artist a Signature Artist? First and foremost, we at Musicnotes have scouted individuals who’ve inspired ourselves and others around the globe to take joy in learning to play new music. Whether it’s Brooklyn Duo‘s classical cello/piano renditions of pop songs, 92 Keys‘ popular piano/violin duets, The Theorist‘s monumental catalogue of piano solos from today’s Billboard Hot 100 or TutorialsByHugo‘s YouTube visual notation demonstrations and Kelly Valleau‘s fingerstyle guitar demos, these artists combine modern methods with the venerable skill we all respect and appreciate, reading and playing musical notation.

You may already be familiar with a number of our Signature Artists. Take, for example, Postmodern Jukebox, who has reached household name-status with retro jazz renditions of modern pop/rock hits with featured artists including supremely talented vocalist, Haley Reinhart.

Fans of the television show ‘Nashville‘ will most likely recognize one of the newest additions to our Signature Artist roster. Show (and Billboard chart) regulars Lennon & Maisy have been inspiring fans on YouTube since 2012’s “Call Your Girlfriend” cover. They’ve since gone on to cover Charli XCX, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Major Lazer and more.

The next two Musicnotes Signature Artists have been with us the longest, with dazzling compositions that have tested the skill and fortitude of many pianists. Musicnotes is proud to partner with the Liszt-ian Jarrod Radnich, a virtuosic performer and composer known for stunning renditions of film, rock and pop music. Radnich’s “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Star Wars: Fantasy Suite for Piano,”  among others, are bestsellers for advanced pianists, and have motivated many aspiring virtuosos to improve their technique.

The other phenom who helped launch our Signature Artist series is Sonya Belousova’s Player Piano.  Teaming with film director and avid movie/video game fan Tom Grey, Belousova arranges pop culture anthems like “Doctor Who” and “Star Wars” and performs them on Grey’s imaginative sets using really unique pianos (think Nintendo console, Millennium Falcon, and a pinball machine) for a visually and musically stunning experience.

With over two dozen Signature Artists spanning a variety of instruments, genres and skill levels, you’re sure to find something inspiring (not to mention impressive) to play.
