The Music From 'The Last of Us'
Bring the music from The Last of Us video game series and HBO show to your music stand!

Back in March, over 8.2 million people watched the final episode of HBO's The Last of Us, bringing the emotional first season to an end.
As shown by the number of viewers, the adaptation of this show was clearly a hit. In fact, it's already been renewed for Season 2!
This popular show is based on the video game of the same name, which came out in 2013 and has sold over 37 million copies (and counting). Seven years later, Naughty Dog released the highly-anticipated sequel, The Last of Us: Part 2.

If you're one of the viewers who have tuned in to watch Season 1 of HBO's The Last of Us, you've not only gotten to enjoy the immersive world and great acting, but you've gotten to enjoy some incredible music!
The music from the game is already quite popular; in fact, the original video game earned the Excellence in Musical Score award at the 2014 SXSW Gaming Awards.
Gustavo Santaolalla was the composer behind that game as well as its sequel. He returned to work with David Fleming to create the music for the television show.
The season featured some of the video games pieces along with iconic songs from pop culture. We've now seen some of the older songs become hits once again, thanks to the show! For example, Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time" was featured throughout Episode 3 and, overnight, it became a hit on music streaming platforms. (And it became popular on Musicnotes.com!)
Now it's time for you to take these titles from The Last of Us to your music stand! You'll find some of our favorites from the show and games below.
So whether you want one of Gustavo's hauntingly beautiful arrangements or you'd prefer an A-Ha classic, we've got you covered!
