·  “I Can't Give You Anything but Love” by Jimmy McHugh: Just in time for Valentine's Day, we bring you a vocal jazz standard made famous by artists such as Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, and Ella Fitzgerald. Songwriters Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields saw a couple window shopping at Tiffany's. They heard the man say he'd love to buy her jewelry, but at the moment, he can't give her anything but love. The songwriting duo wrote the song soon after. This Musicnotes Edition features the introductory verses as well as the more well-known chorus. Practice this one for that special someone in your life!

·  “I'm Just Ken” from Barbie: From last year's hit movie Barbie, this song recently received a Critic's Choice Award for Best Song, and it’s also been nominated for a Grammy and an Oscar. This ‘80s power ballad performed by Ryan Gosling is about Ken not feeling like he’s being taken seriously by Barbie. This new easy piano arrangement features a simple bass line and the rhythmic melody, so get ready to rock out to this accessible arrangement! ·  “Everybody Hurts” by William Haviland: Originally by rock band R.E.M., this was a big hit in the ‘90s. The sad song was written for teenagers going through rough times in high school. This piano solo arrangement by Signature Artist William Haviland allows you to relive those emo moments or help you through a tough time you may be experiencing now. It features flowing arpeggios and extended interludes, so be sure to focus on the musicality of the piece.

·  “Happy Holiday/The Holiday Season” by Andy Williams: It's never too early to start preparing Christmas songs for the upcoming season! This Christmas classic made popular by Andy Williams is a must-have for your musical library. It comes from The Andy Williams Christmas Album, which was the first of eight holiday albums released by the singer. The song is mashup of two classics that fit together quite well. This arrangement includes backup vocals, so grab some friends to put together this catchy tune! Can’t get enough Christmas? We also have Frank Sinatra’s 1957 version of Jingle Bells!

·  “May You Never” by Six String Fingerpicking: Originally by Eric Clapton and songwriter John Martyn, this song comes from one of Eric Clapton’s most successful albums, Slowhand, which includes the hits “Wonderful Tonight” and “Lay Down Sally.” This fingerstyle arrangement by Signature Artist Six String Fingerpicking features the accompaniment only, so be sure to sing along with the melody once you have the song ready to go! See the video clip below for a helpful tutorial on how to conquer this piece section by section.

·  “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen: From the smash hit musical Dear Evan Hansen, this hopeful song reassures us that when you’re feeling down, someone will be there to help you through the tough times. This TTBB choral arrangement by Mac Huff is a great option for a men’s choir or show choir. It features solo opportunities at the beginning and gradually builds to a triumphant finish at the end. *Also available in SATB, SAB, and SSA.

Unique Pick of the Week

·  “Running” by Katherine Cordova: This unique original composition by Signature Artist Katherine Cordova began with just an idea for an intro but developed into a beautiful thoughtful piano solo. Featuring musical elements similar to Interstellar, this solo incorporates repeated rhythmic piano patterns, but be sure to bring out the melodic moving line. This composition creates an interesting soundscape for running.
