· “Ryder” by Madison Beer: From her newly released album Silence Between Songs, Madison Beer wrote this song for her younger brother Ryder. She explains that they experienced some tough times at home, but everything will be all right eventually. This comforting song contains a repeated rhythmic pattern throughout, so be sure to bring out the thoughtful lyrics.

· “Jessica” by Mike Strickland: Originally by The Allman Brothers Band, this song was named after guitarist Dickey Betts’ daughter, who loved to dance and bounce around to the band’s music. This instrumental piece is a standard on classic rock radio stations. Signature Artist Mike Strickland does a great job of incorporating most of the instrumental parts to this advanced piano solo arrangement. Focus on getting well-acquainted with the bass line first, and then enjoy all the interesting twists and turns in this classic rock piece.

· “Love Me Still” by Signature Score: Originally from Lauren Daigle’s recently released self-titled album, this piece emphasizes God's unconditional love. It begins with a calm harp accompaniment and gradually brings in more accompanying instruments. This Singer Pro arrangement from Signature Artist Signature Score is a great accessible option that includes a simpler accompaniment, so you can sing along with the inspirational vocal line.

· “Something's Coming” from West Side Story: From the hit Broadway show and movie West Side Story, this song is sung by Tony, who doesn’t necessarily want to be a part of the Jets anymore, and he’s anticipating better times ahead. This exciting and fast piano solo arrangement challenges the player to highlight the singing melody while moving along with the rest of the accompanying parts.

· “The Great Pumpkin Waltz” by Jennifer Eklund: Originally from the Halloween TV special It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Signature Artist Jennifer Eklund arranges a beginner piano solo with an intermediate duet part included. The solo includes fingerings for a 5-finger hand placement, so this is a great option for an early beginner to play at a Halloween recital or other special event!

· “Maybe This Time” by The Accompanist: Originally from the movie musical Cabaret, the character Sally Bowles is hopeful that something great is going to happen, and she may be in love for the first time. Signature Artist The Accompanist includes the piano accompaniment of this arrangement on his YouTube channel. Begin this song quietly, and keep building towards the end to bring out the anticipation of what’s about to happen.

Unique Pick of the Week

· “Potato Chips” by Roger Emerson: Performed by Slim Gaillard and His Baker’s Dozen, this song describes his craving for potato chips. This 3-Part Mixed Choir arrangement is great for middle or high school choirs looking for a fun, unique jazz song to add to a performance. Focus on keeping the voice parts together during the syncopated sections, and then be sure to grab a bag of chips to satisfy your craving!
