When describing Game of Thrones, you probably wouldn’t use the words “boring,” “uneventful,” or “average.” No, this action-packed series is full of excitement, danger, and adventure.
Musicnotes Signature Artist Costantino Carrara agrees, and to prove his point, he trekked across Iceland to the original set of Game of Thrones Season 7 to bring you the most epic piano cover you’ve ever seen.
As if traveling to Iceland wasn’t enough, Costantino and his team traveled to Thórsmörk, one of the wildest areas in the entire country. If you’ve seen the entire Game of Thrones series, you’ll likely recognize some of the scenery. In episode 6 of season 7, Jon Snow and his crew trek across these same lands, beyond The Wall.
Piled into jeeps, the team crossed rocky terrain and rivers to reach an absolutely breathtaking destination.
You may be wondering how to get a giant grand piano in the middle of a rugged mountain range. After all, you certainly can’t drive a delicate piano over bumpy roads and rocky rivers. Of course, it didn’t phase Costantino at all, and he enlisted a helicopter to do the job!
As you can probably imagine, behind this beautiful video was an incredibly hard-working team.
Though shooting this video consisted of a lot of hard work, many long hours, and a slew of crazy transportation methods, it’s safe to say it was all worth it.
Amidst the black rock, the powerful mountains, and the rushing water, Costantino perfectly captures the essence of Game of Thrones.
