A 1930s Arrangement

2/25/2011 11:43:29 AM

While I cant say with complete accuracy, this arrangement is almost exactly the same as the original 1934 arrangement from the show Anything Goes. If you are looking for something closer to the 1962 version, do not purchase this copy. This particular arrangement is very upbeat and simple. There is not much emotion or context in the song, but does the job like in the original show. It is a lounge-style song. If you are looking for the Bb Transposition in the lower key, the only difference is the vocal line, not the accompaniment. It does sound a little odd with the voice singing so low and the piano playing so high.
