7/26/2016 1:30:17 PMA great song and an okay arrangement. Some of the chords are spread too far apart for my fingers to reach. I can compensate for this, but it is thoughtless writing. And its not just one or two chords, but all throughout the song that the arrangements composer seems to think that most pianists should have an octave-and-a-half spread with one hand. (A sub-bass clef E to the G-sharp below middle C? Please.) Sure I can at times compensate with the other hand or just pick one of the notes and play that one, or play them arpeggio, but with as often as it happens throughout this arrangement Im basically rewriting most of the song. Which is supposed to be the arrangers job, not mine. Great song, mediocre arrangement with lots of room for improvement.
