An immediate readable, singable version of the song - it sets the scene musically from the first few bars. The chords and the notation still give you enough freedom to ad lib to your heart's content. Otherwise, just follow the music. Sounds great!

first time user12/23/2011 4:50:11 PMThis was the first piece of music I downloaded and I was thrilled. I was listening to Norah Jones CD and wished I could sing that. Within 10 minutes I was singing it to her exact arrangement!!! I am a random and moody person, so I never know what I will look for next. This was so easy that I could easily become addicted.

The Nearness of You7/28/2015 4:52:55 AMI am a vocalist, and I collaborated on this piece with my friend, who is a professional accompanist. On both ends, we were happy with the musical arrangements! It made for a beautiful cover of a timeless classic.

VERY DIFFICULT PIECE OF MUSIC5/28/2017 1:39:09 AMBeautifully written, highly ornamented, VERY DIFFICULT. Definitely not for a beginner or intermediate singer. Not at all like the Bessie Smith version.
