Vocals are relatively high range. Piano is rock, 8th notes

Key of A-flat, 4 flats on piano. Thats not a problem, but there are 16th and 32nd note patterns (broken chords)in the instrumental sections when the vocalist does not sing. The chord progressions are beautiful. Just be sure the vocalist can hit an A-flat above the treble clef staff. Melody starts on the C an octave above middle C, so the vocals are high range. Perhaps a male singer would start on middle C, but he would have to hit the A-flat that is above middle C (second space A in the treble clef).

Hit them with EMOTION

Play this with extreme sensitivity, take liberty with timing, maintain slow pace, and you might make some swoon. Its simply beautiful. Get that run near the end *dead-on*, with *confidence*, and hold it for what seems like too long, before proceeding. You might hear some emotional sniveling coming from your audience in the otherwise silence as the sound of your run slowly fades. Its up to you to generate sensitivity from it. Dont just play it through. Improvise areas you have trouble with, if you do. Try this: Learn it in secret. Then, when some friends are over, play it for the first time for your significant other, dedicating it to her in front of those friends -- well, Thats A Moment! You owe me for this one.
