Since we think of this song as being sung by a male vocalist (Elvis), it will probably be sung an octave down from where the vocal line is written in the piano with vocal. The vocal range is not huge, less than one octave, and only "do" to "so" in most of the song. This would be a good confidence-builder for a young male vocalist who just wants to sing for "fun" at a young girls event. Piano is playable upon first attempt for intermediate level pianist. Song would sound great if a strings teacher could teach embellishment!

This arrangement was very beautiful, and I love playing it.
She is currently obsessed with this song since its re emergence of some teenie bopper artist re introducing it... she has been playing it well
The sheet music has repeats that encompass slightly more of the music than the original Elvis version (I prefer his better). I re-wrote the melody for violin, to which I transposed some parts of the music an octave up, to suit it better. The piano part can sound quite low sometimes, so I altered some notes at some points. Overall this is solid but if you want to tailor it to your own needs, I recommend taking the time to use Musescore (free) because the tune really is wonderful. Oh, and I also went for the original key as heard on a YouTube recording.
