Have tried many versions, this ones really good. Thanks Musicnotes!
This, the original, has got the con marziale effect and the lyrics. I thought I must see if there is another version of this after the disappointment of Carstens interpretation. This has the full chords in RH and appropriate octave work in the LH, much favoured - and expected - by capable piano players and pianists. So, this is the arrangement I will use if ever asked to play this.
Absolutely beautiful arrangement
I like that I can have the french to read as I play it.
