11/25/2022 12:56:10 PMFlight Of The Silverbird is quite an energetic, fast and powerful track. 11 pages of sheet music... Considering the short length of the piece, thats saying something! I think TSFH did a really great job and lived up to the title of the piece as you can almost hear the bird flying through the whole piece. These fast movements in the strings over the main melody are very characteristic. Thats why I was extremely interested in how youre going to implement it! Well, what can I say, you absolutely nailed it again! You have implemented this hectic and lively mood in a grandiose way. One example: bar 19. Integrating the melody into these rapid arpeggios is highly intelligent, literally makes the bird fly and certainly needs a little more practice. Bar 35: another very exciting passage begins. The melody switches to the left hand and is subtly accompanied by the arpeggios in the right hand, giving the atmosphere and the feeling: "Were supposed to go somewhere". In addition, the main melody can be heard quite often in the piece. So the major task is to make some kind of variety to take place. After all, playing the melody the same way every time would be boring. But of course you paid attention to that again! Patrik Pietschmann always achieves to create solid, balanced but of course extreamely hard arrangements. This needs some pracitce! Kind regards, Lasse
