Christian L. Stahr is a Norwegian composer, orchestrator, and music director based in Cary, NC, whose music has been performed on concert stages, in theatres, and at cultural festivals in Norway and the U.S. Trained at the University of Oslo, the Norwegian Academy of Music, and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he blends classical craft with theatrical flair to create works that inspire performers and audiences alike. Over a career spanning 20+ years, Stahr has composed music for Fredrikstad City’s 450th Anniversary, written original musicals, and contributed to the award-winning To Paint the Earth. His arrangements and compositions have been performed by choirs, string quartets, pianists, organists, and big bands, bringing fresh energy to both traditional and contemporary settings.
