Composer and Arranger from Switzerland. Roger Muller studied at the Bern Academy oft he Arts: teaching diploma alto horn with Thomas Ruedi , wind music conducting and arranging with Hans Peter Blaser. After his studies Roger Muller changed to french horn. With the french horn and the alto horn he played in various top brass bands and wind orchestras in Switzerland, as well as in chamber ensembles. He is currently active as a horn player, music teacher, conductor, adjudicator and arranger/composer. Roger conducts various brass bands and wind orchestras in Switzerland and arranges and composes for a wide variety of instrumentations. With the composition "From The Source To The Sea" he won 2nd prize at the KMVW competition in 2023 and 3rd prize at the Swiss Brass Band Association's composition competition with the piece "Skylla & Charybdis". With "Phaya Naga" he also won 2nd prize at the 'La Prime Lus' competition in Italy in 2023 in the 1st class wind band category.
