ALL SEPTEMBER LONG
Inspired by the legendary Funk Brothers and in particular the bass ingenuity of James Jamerson, I was always fascinated by the impact that a strong arrangement could do for a song. Paul Riser is my favourite and my top composers are Holland, Dozier & Holland, Stevie Wonder and Burt Bacharach. I currently arrange, compose and play in the band, That Big Funky Thing in Scotland.
