Raphael began playing piano at the age of six and joined the FMS Big Band in Essen when he was teenager. There he got to know jazz and blues, besides the classical education that he learned at the a music school. The first recording of the piano pieces took place in 2013 with the self-composed song Cloud Dreams. In the following years he covered famous pop songs like The Scientist or Skinny Love. He also published music videos on YouTube. The musician created a fan page on Facebook and Instagram. His message to the people listening to the piano songs: "Be in another world for a moment. Be a pianist."
