Jim Stopher maintains an active career as conductor, pianist, composer, and educator. He is chair of the music department at the College of Marin (California), where he teaches courses in music theory, repertoire, and musicianship. He is also music director of the College of Marin Symphony Orchestra and the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra. Jim earned degrees at Harvard University (BA), the University of Arizona (MM), and the Peabody Conservatory (DMA).
