About PBJazz

I consider myself privileged to have been able to make a living as a performing nightclub musician (5 & 6 nights per week) for fifteen years (1960 - 1975). The local scene dried up about 1975 (see the movie The Fabulous Baker Boys) at which time I trained as an x-ray technician and worked as such full-time for 28 years taking a 17-year hiatus from music performance. I returned to performance, playing with a community college jazz band and playing casuals and local coffee houses for short engagements. The steady gigs (years-long engagements) are long gone and at seventy years of age, I've no interest in being a travelling musician.
