About Bluesuburbansky
I would say that music especially playing the piano is one of my main hobbies and also my most common volunteer activity. I do a lot of church music - play piano for church service, sing in(and used to play for) the church choir, have led worship. My brother and sister are extremely musically inclined (much more so than I) and we often are asked to perform for church or other events. I'm almost always the accompanist for them. Recently, I joined another choir (one that's a little higher level and more dedicated than my own church choir) to work on my singing ability - I want to develop a better ear and work on sight singing - and so I thought choir would be a good opportunity. So these days I seem to be spending a lot more time singing than playing piano which is weird....but good!

Welcome to Our World (as performed by MWS)
"My siblings and I perform for church services and we were recently asked to do a number for our church's choir Christmas program. I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with Christmas music and find that Christian artists seem to turn out the best new Christmas works (especially MWS). I am very excited about his new album and he just so happens to be coming to my hometown for a concert just before Christmas.
Anyway, a personal favourite new Christmas song is "Welcome to Our World" - it makes me cry every time I hear it - so it was number one on my list of song choices for our part in the Christmas program. And luckily Musicnotes had both the Amy Grant version and MWS version. I was really pleased that Musicnotes had the MWS version as I can't seem to find his Christmas albums published in sheet music form in a book.
This Musicnotes version was excellent -- just reading it over before sitting down at the piano I knew it was very accurate to the recorded version. It contains"

And luckily Musicnotes had both the Amy Grant version and MWS version. I have to say I prefer MWS' version as it is more orchestral and angelic. But Amy Grant's version has a country lullaby feel along with the choir backing.
This Musicnotes version is very accurate and true to Amy Grant's recording. We ended up choosing MWS' version but I was very satisfied with the accuracy of this version as well. "
