Kevin Woosley Sheet Music

Kevin Woosley is a distinguished pianist, teacher, composer, arranger, author, and improviser. With a doctorate of musical arts degree in piano performance, Woosley has had extensive experience performing and composing in a variety of styles. He specializes in teaching improvisation to musicians, especially classically-trained pianists (and has two fully-improvised piano albums currently published).

One of his many areas of musical passion involves arranging classic rock music of the 1970s and 80s for advanced solo piano (as if Franz Liszt composed Bohemian Rhapsody).

In addition to his composing and arranging, Kevin Woosley is full-time faculty at The University of Alabama where he oversees and teaches class piano, music appreciation (for which he also wrote the textbook), and Life Wellness for musicians. Woosley is an active accompanist and performer. His solo concerts drastically vary in range (from classical to jazz, improv to rock, all in a single concert).

In his free time, Woosley enjoys connecting with the music community of TikTok, drinking coffee, running, hiking, biking, and spending time with his beautiful wife, amazing sons, and energetic dogs.
