One of the most timeless Baroque pieces, this piece was forgotten about for centuries after it was written. It only came back into popularity when a chamber orchestra released a recording in the 1960s. Since the 1980s, this has been most commonly performed at weddings. Very good piece for sight reading...depends on your level of performance as to how quickly one can master; but it's a very comforting selection

Nice, Fairly Simple Arrangement

I needed this song for a wedding processional. A friend had given me a copy of an orchestra reduction I could hardly play. This is a nice arrangement that's fairly simple without SOUNDING too simple. It worked perfectly for the wedding.
