Differences from Hal & Leonard score 20th Century Jazz Standards

I have this score and arrangement in same key from Music Notes and soft copy book (see title). Counting measures at #1 for the first 4 beats measure of VERSE (so skipping intro), looking at bars #22 and #32, there is a very minor difference between MusicNotes and printout of Hal & Leonard and I prefer the Hal & Leonard version. At bar 22 on beat 3, we have LH playing Eb and beat 4 RH plays chord B-E where E is not marked as Eb. I think Music Notes is correct but being more explicit and marking RH as Eb there is far more intuitive. We have a similar issue 10 bars further (#32) where beat #4 correctly indicates Eb at LH with RH showing C-E chord at same beat #4 without altering E to Eb (reader could assume that it is the same, but Hal Leonard is explicit and marks RH as C-Eb, which is far more natural to read). Now may original composer Barroso sees things differently than I do, and I dont know music well enough, but I find it odd that bars 21 to 26 have a LH melody that is chromatic up and down as (#21 D, D#), (#22 E, Eb), (#23 D, D#), (#24 E, D#), (#25 E, E#) (#26 F(#), F(natural)) and I skip the rest. The contrast at #25-26 of E# and Fnatural being the same note written differently is justifiable because the over all chord when considering RH is different Am#5 versus F so I accept that. However at bars 21-22 we rewrite (#21 D#) as (#22 Eb) and the indicated chord is the same as G+. Personally this makes me work harder to figure things out and I would prefer both as D# or both as Eb. Having said that, none of that is a strike at MusicNotes since the Hal & Leonard score does the same and perhaps there is a consensus among pro musicians and composers that this is proper notation and I simply dont understand the rationale.
