For a beginner...

My dad bought this song for me for my piano final in high school, so about a year ago. My teacher warned us not to perform songs that we like and listen to often, but I did anyway. When I turned in my music to her, she stated that even though it says "beginner," it was quite difficult. Look at measure 5, bottom staff. That rhythm, while working with the top, is what makes it so difficult for a beginner, what makes it worse is that you dont hear that in the song. Compare it to the sheet music and you only hear them play the note at the beginning of each measure. I failed my piano final because of the bottom staff during the verses of the song being too difficult for me, but its my fault for being so stubborn. The rest of the song is easy, though.
