A very well written song for many scenarios. Written for the Hobbit, but the lyrics speaks the stories of many. The way I was introduced to this song was through a memorial service that I was scheduled to play/sing for. The family requested this song - and I can see why, it's just another story for someone's goodbye! Beautiful!!

This song is so beautiful! The arrangement is perfect, I purchased this in the original key, but it was hard to choose which key. I had 3 favorites, but opted to go with the original. Beautiful song to play. Cant go wrong with this song no matter which key it is purchased in. Wistful and haunting melody. My fingers were aching for this music! Beautiful!

Very well done. I personally only play the bass clef and vocal line, so I cannot comment on the treble clef piano line. Im a beginner and I appreciate a truly playable version of this lovely song.

The Last Goodbye from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, sung by Billy Boyd, is my favorite of the credit tracks from The Hobbit trilogy. While this arrangement didnt blow me away, I still found it playable and enjoyable. Id recommend it, though not for those wishing to accompany it vocally, since the piano plays the vocal track already.
