Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The marketing specialist must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the business goals while delivering measurable results.

Your contributions will include

  • Manage social media platforms, posting self-produced copy and creative assets.

  • Write/edit articles and work with freelancers/coworkers to publish and maintain a blog website.

  • Oversee content creation and scheduling for email and website promotions.

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and meets customer and market expectations.

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.

  • Improve our customers' website experience by merchandising landing pages and tuning search results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update the website with original design.

  • Organize and maintain a monthly promotional calendar, planning sales and other strategies.

  • Ensure content alignment between marketing channels, the e-commerce site, and product promotions.

  • Seize new content and engagement opportunities.

  • Provide monthly and ad hoc reports and analyses for marketing, plus other departments if relevant/as needed.

  • Coordinate and execute tasks for a wide range of marketing campaigns.

  • Help with project management: tracking timelines, making sure internal and external parties are informed.

  • Create, refine, and optimize marketing processes as needed to ensure smooth and agile operations.

  • Stay up to date with marketing and social media best practices.

Requirements

  • BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.

  • 5+ years of e-commerce marketing experience with various merchandising platforms including but not limited to email, personalized product recommendations, and content management is required.

  • Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign) or related graphic design tools like Canva is required.

  • Experience in a social media-focused role is preferred.

  • Proven skills in writing and creative content creation for various marketing channels.

  • Copywriting and design skills are required.

  • Familiarity with SEO principles is required.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (MS Power BI, and Google Analytics preferred) and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions is required.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills are required.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required.

  • A self-starter with the ability to create and hit personal goals by working with a team and independently is required.

  • HTML proficiency is preferred.

  • Passion for music is preferred.
