Lindokuhle Sibande is a 26 year old from Johannesburg, South Africa currently studying to become a Maths and Science teacher. While he has no formal musical education or training, his musical experience as a chorister and regular attendee of choral performances has opened his eye to a variety of original works which has furthered his love and interest for music composition. Drawing inspiration from works by great classical composers, local composers and from the people he has shared his love for music with, who have since become good friends, this young composer writes music for the joy it brings him and hopes that his work finds meaning and a place on the choral stage and in the hearts of many.
