Glenn gratuated from Purdue University in 1973 in Industrial Engineering. He has sung in many church and community choirs. He also plays trombone and recently played in a community orchestra. Glenn is a self-taught music theorist and composer. He has written many hand bell arrangements and recently collaborated with Bill Cates to write a Christmas cantata. Glenn lives in Colfax, NC with his wife Betty. He has 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
