Reviews
Displaying all reviews (1)When I initially saw there was a Lost collection featuring arrangements of Michael Giacchino's work, I was very excited. That was until I saw the track listing and noticed that my favorite track that just had to be there, Oceanic 815, wasn't. So I decided to hold off on getting the set.
Eventually, I caved and when I eventually got to testing this one out with the season 1 soundtrack in the background, I realized that Life and Death & Life and Death didn't match. This arrangement actually matches the Oceanic 815 track, from the season 1 finale (goes on during the flashback sequence when we see everyone get on the plane for that fateful flight). The track is slow, there is great potential to be quite expressive, a few bars are off as they repeat the same theme as before and not a variation on it, but you can probably just improvise the right thing there. Definitely fun to visualize the scene while you're playing it. My favorite so far.
But please, Musicnotes, fix the name! :)
