"In Dreams" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music Howard Shore ever composed. I love all his LOTR music.

I think if you liked the movie, you will like this arrangement. This rendition has the words that you hear at the end of The Fellowship of the Ring while the credits are playing. The words are much sadder than I expected. The arrangement is lovely with an interesting transition from a haunting D major key to a more cheerful E major key. I wish the song was longer. It ends too soon. Having all the sharps to keep track of was good for my brain.

I bought this to transcribe for my string quartet and it lends itself very well to that - good length (3 pages), plenty of parts, easy to hear the tune. Not easy to read from the piano part but once transcribed, it was fine. Contains guitar chords and singers line and the accompaniment follows the singers line fairly well so it would a fun piece to play as a solo piano piece. Very nice arrangement.

This is definitely better than the other arrangement I have. The cords are much better represented and chock full of notes. For an intermediate piece, that is. Perhaps its because Im used to listening to the orchestra play this on the original soundtrack recording, but I think it could have been a bit closer to the movie. Oh well, it was really good anyway.

This song is just great. It´s very moving, and movie-like. It gives some feedom to develop the melody in a more casual way. We played it with flute instead of voice and it sounded amasing. The lyrics aren`t very good, though.
