Adios Nonino

Adiós Noniño became famous in the Netherlands when our Queen Maxíma chose this music for her wedding-day with the King Willem-Alexander on February 2nd 2002. Her father wasnt present at the wedding due to political decisions. The tango Adiós Noniños is composed by Ástor Piazzolla in 1959 after his father died. The day of the wedding its preformed by Carel Kraayenhof in the New Church of Amsterdam. His album Tango Royal won the Edison Classic Public-Price. Therefore this piece characterizes an important event in the history of Holland and is excellent arranged by Musicnotes.

Value of this arrangement

I use this arrangement as the template for any Argentinian or Brazilian tune. The chords are outstanding, especially the maj13 flat 3. Piazzolla is the best teacher for Latin tunes and learning chords on the Flamenco scale.

One of the most beautiful tangos, written in a style for jazz or classical pianists!
