One of Joni's earliest hits, and possibly her most well-known tune. Mitchell's 1969 sophomore effort Clouds reached the Top 40, while 1970's Ladies of the Canyon sold even better on the strength of the single "Big Yellow Taxi." It also included her anthemic composition "Woodstock," a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, establishing Mitchell as one of pop music's most remarkable and insightful talents. This version of the piece is arranged as performed by Counting Crows with Vanessa Carlton.

There was no indication that this was the Counting Crows version, but it is what I was trying to find since the song is one of my faves on my go-to playlist. Does a decent job recreating their sound.

Joni Mitchell has a wonderful melodic and rhythmic gift. Her melodies flows out of her naturally and in a well balance and beautiful way. Unfortunately, this sheet music does not reflect that. Its stiff and appears to have been transcribed decades ago by someone who just didnt get modern (in the 60s) music.
